Leading Contributor to OCP Power Applications Launches Busbar Connectors Performing to OCP ORv3 Specifications

Pennsylvania, USA – Amphenol Communications Solutions is pleased to announce today, the release of its BarKlip® BK500 IO and BarKlip® BK150 IO busbar connectors. These high-current connectors are fully compliant with OCP ORv3 power output and IT gear specifications supporting 48V power rack architecture and are ideal for use in a variety of power-dense data center applications including the Power shelf, baseband units, and server and storage sleds.

Feature-packed OCP ORv3 Busbar Connector Series

The BarKlip® BK500 IO supports up to 500A/contact with 18 independent conducting beams and silver plating, comes in a floating panel mount design with 6.4mm of gatherability and ± 3.0mm of float in both the X and Y-axis. The BarKlip® BK150 IO supports up to 150A/contact with 12 independent conducting beams and silver plating, comes in a panel mount design and a slide-to-lock version offering 6.4mm of gatherability and ±3.0mm of float on the X-axis and ±2.0mm of float on the Y-axis. Both busbar connector series feature an ultra-low end-of-life contact resistance of 0.5mΩ and have two identical power circuits and two secondary ground contacts where a sense pin option is available for the BarKlip® BK150 IO.
